The book was more exciting then anything else. I found that it was exciting the most ’cause at the end of the chapters it always ways leaves the readers think. It makes the readers think ’cause it leaves somewhere in a part where you a almost standing at end trying to read what happens next but, at the start of the chapters it leaves the leaders right where they want to. My favorite part was when Johnny and Ponyboy runaway and when Johnny dies because when they runaway the leaders got to know more about them and i like the part when he dies ’cause it tells lots about the Robert Frost poems. Including the word it was even more funner, I thought. The words were always fun to read because they did use very well proper ’cause it took place in the older days were there were the greasers and socs.The Characters made it quite interesting too. Like Johnny, Ponyboy, Darry, Sodapop, Cherry, And the other socs. It made the book more interesting because the made the characters lives bit dramatic but, peoples lives do end up like Johnny’s and how no one really cares what he does and doesn’t do in his family, his parents don’t love him,and his dad beets him when he notices him. But after all he does have a loving bunch of tough, hard headed, punks for him. There for i thought this book was great.

        The movie of the book was a bit different then what i had had thought of it as. I thought it was different from the book mostly ’cause there was some parts that weren’t in it and that were in the book. Also ’cause I thought that the characters would look way different then when the book described them as. I also thought the movie would have been much better if i wouldn’t have read the book before because the book has more details in it and kind of recked the movie for me. The book and the movie were similar in some ways. They all had the same characters. The most one that was sort of shocking was how they had the same accent from the olden days. The movie and book also both had the same kind of taste, and that taste was the taste of dramatic-all tho the movie has more drama then the book.

        We also did a final project for the Outsiders. It was fun because we got to do it with people from L.A that were very polite. My partners were both from L.A., their names were Anthony and Robert. Me and Anthony were the only ones who chatted together because for some reason Robert didn’t make it to any of the chats. We chatted on msn because of all the problems that we had on all of the other places where he had tried to chat, but hadn’t succeeded. I thought that we did our project in a good amount of time. Our project that we had accomplished was made on voicethread based on teenviolence. I also thought that we had made good process over time with the only two weeks that we had to do this on and some of the time we had to work on it at home. When you do a voice thread it is kind of hard working with it at home with the voices.

        I thought that the whole Outsiders book, project and movie was a complete accomplishment for the whole class. We learner many forms of representation on the computers. I also thought it has improved our skills on collaboration with kids who are totally different then us. By that i mean they live in big L.A and we live here in Canada in a small town. I wish we could do it again some time.
