Here is the the short form for the chapters of 11 & 12:
I think that these chapters were mostly based around the word freindship because what i thought was when Darry and Soda made Ponyboy stay in bed ’cause they wanted him to get rest to heel. And i also thought that when Sodapop ran out and was crying because Darry and Sodapop were fighting and they gave up fighting to make Sodapop feel better.I also thought it was freindshipwhen Johnny had left that note saying to stay gold, I thought that was showing that he really did care and love them and that line that he made for Darry, I thought could have made Darry not kill himself tracticlly. If only he could have found the note faster but, nothing gold can stay says Robert Froest.
A Short description of these chapters would be: Dally broke out of the hospital to fight in the rumble. They all go to the rumble, and win. They go to the hospital to see johnny to tell him the good news. When they get into the room the told him, he said “fighting ain’t no good.” then, Ponyboy said “Stay gold.” Johnny died after he said that and for the first time Dallas Winston cried. They all go home and Ponyboy tells the gang that Johnny has died. And that he was scared for Dally because what he might do next. The last thoing that happened was Dally Robbed a department store, ran down the street, and then stood while the cops shot him and he died with a smile on his face.
I think these chapters were based on survival. Ithought it was but dont know about you, i thought that a part of the survival was when Johnny was in the hospital because he was in the hospital it was all about survival but he didnt. Even when the rumble was on and they had to fight, i thought that was survival. I also thought that when Ponyboy got knicked the headand got a concusion or when he had fainted. But, if you think of more reasons as to why it was survival comment me back!!:D
What happened in these chaptrers were when they were just comeing back from the fire and getting in the hospital. They Ponyboy got to go home but Johnny and Darry had to stay because Johnny broke his back in and Darry burnt his arm badly. Ponyboy was with Two-Bit when Randy(one of the socs) came along and told Ponyboy to get in the car and they talked about Bob the guy that Johnny had killed and what he wanted and how if he got that none of this would be happening right now. Ponyboy and Two-Bit went to visit them and he gave Dally his switch balde. And Ponyboy was in the vacant lot with Cherry. And that was the last of the chapter.
I think that this chapter was based mostly on freindship because Ponyboy said that he and Johnnys freindship has gotten stronger scne they have been in the church for a week and that they new more about eachother. Also if Ponyboy was his friend he would go to see him, and he did. Darry and Ponyboys friendship got better then it was because Darry was happier with Ponyboy and said sorry for what he had done. It aslo think that there was friendship in these chapters because they had stuck up for Johhny when his mom came in.
What happened in these chapters was very exciting to read because they they seemed so intense. And heres what had happened in them: Dally came there to give them more money and information as to what was going on back at town. When he went there they got to go out for the first time. They went out to eat and Darry told them how everyone was doing. Johnny felt bad because Ponyboy didn’t kill the guy and he was innocent, so he wanted to go and turn himself in. As they were driving back to town when they passed the church it was on fire, there were a couple of kids in it. Johnny and Ponyboy got then out before it came crashing and Johnny and got trapped, Darry went in, got him and got out with a bad burn on his arm. A timber fell o Johnny and his back was burnt. And the last part was Johnny waiting in the hospital with Jerry, the police, and the reporters.
These Chapters was mostly about heroism. This chapter was based on they’re heros because of when they went in to the house. That showed heroism because they weren’t that scared to into the flaming church to get the kids that had gotten stuck in it. I thought this chapter was based on they’re heromism because the fact is, is that they got into that house not knowing what they were doing but in a way did know what they were doing. They knew that what they were they for was to get the kids and get out as quick as possible but for them to go in there and not have any clue what they were in for because they were in a burning house alone when it could have crashed and they could have risked there lives for nothing. But it was exciting to see that they got into that house not knowing what they were doing, but it was the part when Ponyboy was asking where they were I thought Johnny had never made it. I think it is also heroism that they used in this chapter because Johnny had the guts to tell Ponyboy and Darry that he was going to turn himself in. But if I were in that position I would tell the cops right away that I killed that guy in self defense because he was drowning my friend.
