My class teacher got us to read a book called “The bet“. It was a good book but it wasn’t the that big of a story. The story is a five paged story written by Anton Chekhov. He was one of Rasia’s best authors because back the books were over 500 pages in each of the books. Mr.Fisher read one the books and It took him over a whole summer to read the whole book. The reason we are reading this book is mostly about relationship and power.

How is power shown in relationships? Power is shown in relationships when use use force. Or it could be a good or bad forces. Like pressuring your friend to drink is a bad kind of relationship because you are trying to use to much of your power. Some power is for good like using your power physically if your friend is stuck and needs help, you would in that case use your power for the good of it.

How can power change relationships between people?

Power can change relationships when  you use to much of your power. Like sometimes husbands abuse their wives and sometimes they do get away and sometimes they don’t. When power is the change in relationships it usually means something bad. Some people take advantage or some people put pressure into doing things things that u don’t want to do like drinking and smoking because allot of people get pressured into it. Then you get addicted to it then you can’t stop. Then you will probably get cancer in your throat and die.

How can power change people?

Power can change people when the people start to act different because they are wanting more and more every time but then you can’t do it anymore so you quit the relationship.And if some people get to used to getting you everything then you stat to be kind of a slave and then the other person will think you are to nice and that it is creepy and leave the relationship.

We got to play SimCity in class with our friends. My teacher Mr. Fisher got us to play it for our whole social studies for Government and Societies. He got us to play with it for the class because he think that learning about the Government and Societies is just boring if you have to sit there and read 10 pages and do some work. He thinks that playing video games is much better because then you get to no what it is like.

SimCity is a game where you have to build all kinds of cities when you are the mayor. You start out with a blank piece of land and you have to work with that and make the whole town or city. The game is not that easy when you actually try to play it.

When I played SimCity the first thing I did was put the houses in and the industrial work places along with other work places. The second thing that I did was make roads and then put the power and water pipes with water towers in. What we did after that was lower the taxes put in small schools, fire dept., and police station. We lowered the bus pick up to make it fit in the area that had houses. We lowered the fire dept. to come in the area of the town only and not on the out skirts. The last thing that we did was sit back and let the money roll in.   

The Government does nice things for us. They Government do nice stuff for us like paving our roads. They don’t always have to pave our roads or let us have voting rights. The Government t can just make us stay at home and not let us have welfare or shelter. Some part of the Government takes care of the homeless people and gives them the right to have a shelter but not the biggest shelter that a normal person would have. They don’t have to do that kid of stuff.

The Government also does extra stuff for all of us like giving us plowing service. Without the plowing service in the winter time we would all be stuck walking to school in the horrible weather. The Government gives us clubs. For ex: the rangers witch I am in and if the government never made it then my friends would have never had a great trip going to B.C and going mountain climbing and learning new games that they taught us.

In societies doing something nice would be like making a library, putting up a mall, water parks, and making best buy and west 49 and all of those kids of shops and even more. The society does lots of stuff for use it does more extra things and nice things then I does useful. If the society didn’t do this town would be boring and no one would want to live here.

The society does extra stuff to like make fast food restaurants. If we didn’t have fast food restaurants then it wouldn’t be as much of fun when u goes out of town. When you stop at a drive through u don’t ask for some carrots and a salad and veggie dogs on the side you ask for like a greasy burger and some French fries on he side. But it isn’t that fun when u over do the fast food and become fat. Candy stores are another thing that people have to watch there limit on how much they eat. It is good only when u have a little bit like about every weekend. That is when I have my share of candy. The societies also give us hotels where some people sleep. They give us bowling places to have fun at and they give use beaches where we swim at. The society pretty much gives utmost of the extra stuff.

V.S.Blogging and writing are both different. Blogging is the different as writing because when you write on paper you are expressing your feelings but no one will see them. If you are blogging then you express your feelings and everyone can see them. When you make a blog it is not the same as writing on your note book I love…… And if you write that in your blog everyone will be able to see it and then you will end up getting teased. When you write a whole big story on your note book you cant cut and paste it to the computer and nobody really will be able to see it on the bulletin board outside the room.

That my friends is some different ways blogs and writing are alike and aren’t alike.
